Family Command Center
HeyCarlton moved from a Telegram experiment toward a multi-channel family assistant: smarter school-email understanding, safer calendar actions, cleaner onboarding, and the first Siri bridge.
What changed
- Smarter forwarded-email parsing for school, activity, and family logistics emails, including action items, deadlines, locations, notes, and suggested reminders.
- North-star extraction behavior based on the Drama Assessment example: identify the event, the required prep, early/absent student instructions, and the right reminder opportunity.
- Prompt capture for product learning, so real user asks can be mined for what is working and where Carlton needs to improve.
- One-tap Google Calendar confirmation buttons in Telegram for proposed calendar creates, updates, and deletes.
- Email setup added to onboarding so parents learn to forward school and schedule emails to [email protected] during setup.
- Production Google Calendar OAuth reviewed and restored to a working consent flow.
- Siri / Apple Shortcuts bridge added so parents can ask Carlton by voice after setup.
- Release notes process begins here, with Telegram and marketing-site visibility.
